Sellers Sanctions Policy
Comprehensive guidelines for international trade compliance and sanctions adherence for Xaysi marketplace sellers.
Sellers Sanctions Policy
Xaysi Inc. provides a global marketplace for buyers and sellers to engage in commerce across our website, mobile apps, and other digital tools (collectively, the “Services”). As a user of our marketplace, you are required to comply with this Sanctions Policy, which forms an integral part of our Terms of Use. By accessing and using our Services, you acknowledge and agree to adhere to this policy, regardless of your geographical location.
As a global entity, Xaysi Inc. is obligated to comply with applicable international sanctions and trade restrictions. These sanctions are imposed by government bodies and regulatory authorities around the world, including (but not limited to) the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), the European Union, and other relevant agencies. Sellers are responsible for ensuring that their activities on our platform adhere to these sanctions and restrictions, which may impact transactions with certain individuals, entities, and locations.
Policy Compliance Benefits
Maintaining compliance with our sanctions policy helps ensure uninterrupted access to our marketplace, protects seller reputation, and reduces legal and financial risk associated with sanctions violations.
Restricted Transactions
The following examples outline the types of transactions prohibited under our Sanctions Policy. These include, but are not limited to:
- Geographic Restrictions: Transactions involving countries or regions subject to sanctions are prohibited.
- Exportation of Restricted Items: The export of specific goods or services (e.g., certain luxury items to sanctioned countries) may be restricted.
- Sanctioned Entities and Individuals: Transactions with individuals or entities listed on sanctions lists (e.g., OFAC SDN List, EU sanctions lists) are prohibited.
- Origin of Goods: The sale of items originating from sanctioned regions is prohibited, subject to limited exceptions where applicable.
- Products from Sanctioned Countries: Import and sale of certain goods (e.g., seafood, gold, diamonds) from sanctioned regions may be prohibited.
- Use of Forced Labor: The sale of goods that violate international standards related to forced labor is strictly prohibited.
Seller Responsibilities
Sellers must take the following actions to ensure compliance with our Sanctions Policy:
- Geographic Restrictions: Sellers must not operate accounts or engage in transactions from sanctioned regions or locations.
- Item Listings: Sellers must not list items originating from sanctioned or restricted regions (including previously listed items).
- Documentation Requirements: Xaysi Inc. may request documentation to verify compliance, including country-of-origin information.
Monitoring and Enforcement
To maintain a compliant and secure marketplace, Xaysi Inc. may monitor seller activities. If a seller violates this policy, we may suspend or terminate access, disable listings, and cancel transactions as needed.
Third-party payment processors may also monitor transactions and block payments that violate sanctions compliance programs.
Global Compliance
While Xaysi Inc. follows sanctions and trade regulations applicable in the jurisdictions where we operate, sellers are responsible for complying with all relevant laws in the jurisdictions involved in their transactions.
Updates to the Policy
Xaysi Inc. may update this Sanctions Policy periodically to reflect evolving laws and regulations. Sellers should review this policy regularly.
